1858 - Victoria - Canadian Twenty Cent

The Canadian Twenty Cent Coin was only produced for one year, 1858. It was first issued on December 12th 1858. Due to its very unpopularity, the Canadian Government replaced the twenty cent coin with the more popular twenty-five cent coin. During the switch over many of the twenty cent coins were melted and re-coined to make twenty-five cent coins.
